Bio

Oleksandr has graduated from the Computer Science Department of KNURE. Many years worked as Software developer and Software architect, but at 2012 got interested in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and started Kharkiv AI Club with like-minded coleagues. In 2014 he changed his job to Data Science and became a Data Science competence leader at AltexSoft.

Dynamic pricing is the practice of changing the price of a good or service to reflect changing market conditions, such as setting a higher price at a time of higher demand, and vice versa. Supermarkets, gas stations, electric companies, airlines, hotels, cab services, and many other businesses vary their prices.Often pricing is done by people or algorithms based on simple rules. We will consider how this can be done with ML, what data, algorithms, and approaches are needed. We will discuss the challenges that are likely to be encountered and how to test the solution in a real-world setting.
