Earned Ph.D. in Math from Kharkiv Karazin National University after doctoral studies at Institute for Low Temperature Physics. He worked as software engineer and algorithm developer in Israel and USA in areas ranging from computational geometry to image recognition to electromagnetics and finance. After joining Google Research Michael develops machine learning models to personalize user search results and advertisements.

Topic: Evolution of Tensorflow (Online speech)

Short Description: Tensorflow became the central part of Google ML and the spearhead of Google strategy, from Search to user products to Cloud. Will present the logic and overview of the tool and discuss where it is going. We will also discuss the business logic and trade offs of switching to Tensorflow from vendor and from Google point of view.
