Bio

Mykola received the M.S. degree in applied mathematics from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 2016, the Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics from the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” 2020. He is currently the Senior CV/ML Engineer in TemaBit Fozzy Group, Ukraine. His research interests include the development and optimization of neural networks for solving challenging tasks in the computer vision domain.

Maintenance and payment at the checkout in the canteen is very long (from 30 seconds and longer). The KISSA AI project solves the problem of automatic recognition of food and beverages in the canteen with the subsequent automatic calculation of the customer without human intervention. The report will detail the methodology for solving this problem (hardware and software), the need to use multiple cameras, and the algorithm for combining information from them into one final check.
