I’m interested in the application of ML techniques to real-life problems, such as speech processing and behavioral analysis, and that’s what I’ve been doing for the last 1.5 years at IBDI. I’m also excited about the theory of dynamical systems and its relationship to complex networks and their evolution in time. I have a good programming background in Python.
Topic: Voice substitution with the help of machine learning
Short Description: I will highlight some of the recent approaches to voice conversion (converting one person’s voice into other’s without changing the meaning of what has been said), as well as some of the open tools for speech processing. For the last several months, we have been implementing and testing a number of the most popular methods, such as Gaussian Mixture Regression, Non-Negative Matrix Factorization and Frequency Warping.
